The Golden Beavers now hold a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornell for a WPIAL 1A 1 outing on Monday, May 2. Western Beaver will confront a Raiders team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-9.
Next, the Quips confront the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 outing, on Saturday, April 30. Aliquippa will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 8-4 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Beaver (Beaver, PA).
