Washington High School Baseball - College Place wallops Weston-McEwen
April 28, 2022: College Place, WA 99324 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the College Place Hawks (College Place, WA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR), by a final score of 11-1.
The Hawks now hold a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kiona-Benton for a 1A SCAC - East outing on Saturday, April 30. College Place will confront a Bears team coming off a 16-5 league win over Wahluke (Mattawa, WA). The Bears record now stands at 8-2.
In their next game, the TigerScots encounter the Union/Cove Bobcats (Union, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD7 Special District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, May 3. Weston-McEwen will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record.
