Kansas High School Softball - Jefferson West bounces Royal Valley
April 28, 2022: Hoyt, KS 66440 Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hiawatha for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. Jefferson West will battle a Red Hawks squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Sabetha (Sabetha, KS). The Red Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Royal Valley falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Holton (Holton, KS) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, May 2. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 16-2. Holton won 14-1 in their recent non-league match against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS)
