The Sandusky Wolves baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Bad Axe Hatchets to 2 in the Wolves non-league win on Monday.

The Wolves now hold a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ubly for a Greater Thumb - East test on Thursday, May 1. Sandusky will play a Bearcats team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Caro (Caro, MI). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Bad Axe drops to 0-9 on the year. The Hatchets host Laker (Pigeon, MI) to play the Lakers in a Greater Thumb - West test on Thursday, May 1. The Lakers go into the test with a record of 3-3. Laker lost 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Garber (Essexville, MI)
