In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Blazer Tomcats baseball team scored a close 11-5 win over the Ironton Fighting Tigers.

The Tomcats (20-2) will now prepare for their game against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders go into the non-league game with a 11-10 record. In their last game, Huntington was overwhelmed by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 12-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Fighting Tigers play the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) in a Ohio Valley game, on Wednesday, April 29. Ironton will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 13-6 record after their 13-1 non-league win over River Valley (Bidwell, OH).
