Virginia High School Lacrosse - Yorktown overwhelms Washington-Liberty
April 29, 2024: Arlington, VA 22201 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) and the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), saw Yorktown's lacrosse team top Washington-Liberty by a margin of 14-3.
The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Colonials enter the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology beat Annandale (Annandale, VA), 15-6, in a league battle.
In their next game, the Generals clash with the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a Liberty battle, on Thursday, May 2. Washington-Liberty will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Saxons come into the battle with a 10-3 record after their 15-3 non-league win over South Lakes (Reston, VA).
