In Monday's league contest, the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), by a count of 20-4.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Weddington will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 15-2 league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
