Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Butler advances its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 3-7. Queen's Grant lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC)

The Eagles now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sun Valley for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9. East Mecklenburg will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 8-3.
