The Rosman Tigers baseball squad (Rosman, NC), was overwhelmed 21-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC)

With the triumph, Polk County moves its record to 11-12 on the season. The Wolverines host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a Mountain Foothills 7 1A/2A contest on Thursday, May 1. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a record of 21-0. East Rutherford won 6-0 in their recent league contest against Polk County (Columbus, NC)

The Tigers now possess a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Heritage for a Western Highlands 1A/2A contest on Thursday, May 1. Rosman will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-10.
