April 4, 2025: Ripley, MS 38663 Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 3-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Kosciusko advances its record to 19-3 on the season. The Whippets travel to Grenada (Grenada, MS) to battle the Chargers in a non-league match on Saturday, April 5. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 12-7. Grenada won 7-3 in their recent league match against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS)
The Tigers now have a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center Hill for a non-league match on Saturday, April 5. Ripley will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Saltillo (Saltillo, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-11.
