Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their baseball team beat the visiting North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC), 10-0 in a non-league game.

The Comets (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Greenfield defeated Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC), 17-12, in a non-league game.
