Ohio High School Softball - Riverside bounces Wickliffe
April 5, 2021: Painesville, OH 44077 Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH), 11-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Beavers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Catholic for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 6. Riverside will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Madison (Madison, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Wickliffe falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH) to face the Wolverines in a Chagrin Valley - Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 6. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. West Geauga won 19-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Geneva (Geneva, OH)
