Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Homestead upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to battle the Chargers in a De Anza test on Wednesday, April 10. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 9-6. Wilcox won 8-5 in their recent league test against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA)

With the defeat, Lincoln falls to 10-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Silver Creek (San Jose, CA) to battle the Raiders in a Santa Teresa test on Wednesday, April 10. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 7-8. Silver Creek won 5-1 in their recent league test against Hill (San Jose, CA)
