Georgia High School Baseball - Westminster nips Lovett
April 7, 2021: Atlanta, GA 30327 Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Westminster upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, April 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-10. North Cobb Christian won 12-1 in their recent league test against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA)
With the defeat, Lovett falls to 11-6 on the season. The Lions host Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, April 9. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 17-5. Greater Atlanta Christian won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Duluth (Duluth, GA)
