April 7, 2022: North Reading, MA 01864 North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Weston Wildcats (Weston, MA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Reading upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hornets host Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA) to battle the Pioneers in a CAL Kinney test on Saturday, April 9. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
