Match Summary
Bishop Chatard Boys Volleyball opened its conference season with a sweep of the Covenant Christian Warriors. Strong serving and passing in the first set led to a quick 25-8 victory for the Trojans.
The second set began much like the first set ended, with Bishop Chatard taking early leads of 6-1, then 12-3 before the Warriors battled back, still trailing at 11-16. Trojan serving proved to be too much for Covenant Christian, and Bishop Chatard closed out the set, 25-14.
Covenant Christian toughened up even more in the third set, remaining even or slightly ahead of the Trojans at 11-10. Bishop Chatard then ran off a string of scores to lead 23-12 before closing the match at 25-13.
