Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, Morse upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Tigers host Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Monday, April 11. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 13-4. Morro Bay won 14-4 in their recent league test against Mission Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA)

With the defeat, La Jolla falls to 7-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Oceanside (Oceanside, CA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Monday, April 11. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 11-3. Oceanside won 7-0 in their recent league test against Valley Center (Valley Center, CA)
