The Parkersburg South Patriots routed the host Ripley Vikings softball squad by a count of 18-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Patriots (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against University (Morgantown, WV). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, University topped Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV), 9-2, in a league battle.
