The Gateway Gators baseball squad (Monroeville, PA), was overwhelmed 16-3 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA)

With the triumph, Montour moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Spartans host Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league contest on Friday, April 10. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 5-3. Hopewell won 11-0 in their recent league contest against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA)

The Gators now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Armstrong for a non-league contest on Friday, April 10. Gateway will confront a River Hawks squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Valley (New Kensington, PA). The River Hawks record now stands at 0-7.
