The The Covenant School Eagles baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Roanoke Catholic Celtics to 2 in the Eagles league win on Friday.

The Eagles now own a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host Christchurch School for a non-league test on Saturday, May 2. The Covenant School will clash with a Seahorses team coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA). The Seahorses record now stands at 10-12.

With the defeat, Roanoke Catholic drops to 5-10 on the year. The Celtics travel to Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 5.
