May 10, 2022: Birmingham, AL 35210 The Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) softball overwhelmed the host Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL), 17-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
With the triumph, Fort Payne moves its record to 23-10 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 10. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 17-16. Chelsea won 18-7 in their recent non-league contest against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL)
In their next game, the Mounties play the Pell City Panthers (Pell City, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 10. Shades Valley will attempt to move on its 10-17 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 30-13 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Springville (Springville, AL).
