Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 13-8 in a league battle.

The Golden Eagles now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Hunterdon for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 11.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 13. Mountain Lakes will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Hillbillies come into the battle with a 2-12 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ).
