In Wednesday's league challenge, the Saltsburg Trojans (Saltsburg, PA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), by a final score of 7-1.

With the win, Saltsburg upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Trojans host Blairsville (Blairsville, PA) to battle the Bobcats in a Heritage challenge on Friday, May 14. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Blairsville lost 11-3 in their recent league challenge against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA)

With the defeat, Purchase Line falls to 1-14 on the season. The Red dragons host Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to battle the Wildcats in a Heritage challenge on Thursday, May 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Homer-Center lost 10-6 in their recent league challenge against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA)
