The Pomperaug Panthers baseball squad (Southbury, CT), was edged 6-5 in Monday's league contest with the host New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT)

With the triumph, New Milford moves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Green Wave travel to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT) to confront the Rebels in a Southwest contest on Tuesday, May 13. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 7-8. New Fairfield won 7-0 in their recent league contest against Stratford (Stratford, CT)

The Panthers now possess a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joel Barlow for a Southwest contest on Tuesday, May 13. Pomperaug will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 13-2.
