South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Parkers Chapel Trojans (El Dorado, AR), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Side upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Hornet travel to England (England, AR) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, May 15. The Lions come into the test with a record of 27-6. England won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR)

With the defeat, Parkers Chapel falls to 6-6 on the season.
