In Thursday's league test, the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) softball squad overwhelmed the host Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD), by a tally of 19-7.

Next, the Lynx clash with the Watertown Arrows (Watertown, SD) in a Class AA test, on Saturday, May 16. Brandon Valley will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record. The Arrows go into the test with a 3-7 record after their 11-1 league loss to Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD).

The Golden Eagles (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD). The Tigers go into the Class AA test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Harrisburg prevailed over Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD), 26-7, in a league test.
