The Donovan Catholic Griffins triumphed over the host Northern Burlington Greyhounds softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Griffins play the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 16. Donovan Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 23-1 season record. The Bengals enter the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Raritan (Hazlet, NJ).

The Greyhounds (24-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Irish enter the non-league challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame was routed by Steinert (Hamilton, NJ), 4-1, in a league challenge.
