Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 7-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hurricane upgrades its record to 28-4 on the season. The Redskins host Cabell Midland (Ona, WV) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, May 23. The Knights come into the test with a record of 25-6. Cabell Midland won 10-3 in their recent non-league test against Hoover (Clendenin, WV)

With the defeat, Sissonville falls to 21-8 on the season.
