The Lynden Lions basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs to 35 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellingham for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Friday, May 21. Lynden will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 46-28 league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-1.

The Cubs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Blaine triumphed over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 68-55, in a league contest.
