In Saturday's league bout, the Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Summit Tigers (Frisco, CO), by a tally of 6-0.

Next up, the Devils encounter the Battle Mountain Husky (Edwards, CO) in a 4A Western Slope bout, on Wednesday, May 6. Eagle Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Husky enter the bout with a 10-5 record after their 12-3 league win over Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO).

The Tigers (0-18) will now prepare for their bout against Middle Park (Granby, CO). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Middle Park edged Jefferson (Edgewater, CO), 15-2, in a non-league bout.
