The Lowell Red Devils routed the host Hammond Morton Governors softball squad by a count of 15-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Red Devils (10-15) will now prepare for their battle against Michigan City (Michigan City, IN). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 2-12 record.
