In Wednesday's league match, the host Franklin Central Flashes softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Fishers Tigers.

The Flashes (16-10) will now prepare for their match against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN). The Royals come into the Hoosier Crossroads match with a 16-4 record. In their last match, Hamilton Southeastern nipped Yorktown (Yorktown, IN), 3-2, in a non-league match.
