Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA), 12-0 in a league test.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Vikings host Mid Valley (Throop, PA) to battle the Spartans in a Lackawanna 3 test on Wednesday, May 4. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 6-5. Mid Valley won 3-2 in their recent league test against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)

With the defeat, Carbondale Area falls to 1-9 on the season. The Chargers host Old Forge (Old Forge, PA) to battle the Blue Devils in a Lackawanna 3 test on Wednesday, May 4. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 7-6. Old Forge lost 14-13 in their recent league test against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA)
