The Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) baseball trounced the visiting Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), 12-4 in Tuesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks play the AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest, on Thursday, May 5. Peru will attempt to better on its 12-1 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 12-5 league loss to Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY).
