The Huskies now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Wilkes for a bout on Thursday, May 6. Ashe County will face a Cardinals team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.
Next, the Vikings face the Elkin Elks (Elkin, NC) in a bout, on Friday, May 7. North Wilkes will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Elks enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 8-8 non-league West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
