The Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA) baseball trounced the host Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), 8-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they host Livermore for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 5. Heritage will clash with a Cowboys team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-14.

With the defeat, Castro Valley drops to 7-13 on the year. The Trojans travel to Alameda (Alameda, CA) to clash with the Hornets in a challenge on Saturday, May 9. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 4-7.
