The Benedictine Cadets lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting First Flight Nighthawks to 7 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cadets now hold a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Fork Union Military Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 5. Benedictine will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, First Flight falls to 7-6 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to New Bern (New Bern, NC) to clash with the Bears in a Conference 1 challenge on Wednesday, May 6. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 3-14. New Bern lost 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Croatan (Newport, NC)
