In Monday's non-league test, the Westville Blackhawks (Westville, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Knox Redskins (Knox, IN), by a tally of 13-3.

Next, the Blackhawks clash with the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) in a Porter County test, on Tuesday, May 6. Westville will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Satellites go into the test with a 8-3 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, IN).

The Redskins (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN). The Vikings go into the Northern State test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Tippecanoe Valley was routed by Jimtown (Elkhart, IN), 2-1, in a league test.
