May 6, 2019: Purcellville, VA 20132 The Madison Warhawks softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Woodgrove Wolverines to 0 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Madison improves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Warhawks host Oakton (Vienna, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a District 1 game on Tuesday, May 7. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 4-14. Oakton lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Centreville (Clifton, VA)
In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Riverside Ram (Ashburn, VA) in a Dulles game, on Tuesday, May 7. Woodgrove will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Ram come into the game with a 10-3 record after their 7-3 league win over Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA).
