Nevada High School Softball - Moapa Valley holds off Sports Leadership & Management
May 6, 2024: Overton, NV 89040 Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sports Leadership & Management Bulls (Henderson, NV), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 21-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boulder City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Moapa Valley will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Eagles record now stands at 20-6.
With the loss, Sports Leadership & Management falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Bulls travel to Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Desert Shields in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Desert Shields enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. Cheyenne lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Boulder City (Boulder City, NV)
