California High School Softball - Point Loma bounces Cathedral Catholic

The Point Loma Pointers softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Cathedral Catholic Dons to 4 in the Pointers league win on Wednesday.

The Pointers now sport a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a City Western battle on Wednesday, May 13. Point Loma will confront a Patriots team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-15.

With the loss, Cathedral Catholic moves to 10-11 on the season. The Dons host Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to confront the Falcons in a City Western battle on Friday, May 8. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 11-9. Scripps Ranch won 1-0 in their recent league battle against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA)
