May 7, 2024: Runnemede, NJ 08078 Pennsville Memorial Eagles (Pennsville, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wildwood for a Tri-County - Classic challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Pennsville Memorial will face a Warriors squad coming off a 16-8 league loss to Salem (Salem, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-10.
With the loss, Triton falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Highland Regional (Blackwood, NJ) to face the Tartans in a Tri-County - Liberty challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Tartans enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Highland Regional lost 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Deptford (Deptford, NJ)
