Elko Indians (Elko, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), 19-4 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fernley for a 3A North - East challenge on Wednesday, May 12. Elko will face a Vaqueros squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Dayton falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Dust devils travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to face the Greenwave in a 3A North - East challenge on Wednesday, May 12. The Greenwave enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Churchill County won 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV)
