The Benton Central Bison got by the host Lowell Red Devils softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Bison (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Comets go into the non-league battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Eastern nudged Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN), 15-2, in a non-league battle.

The Red Devils now sport a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a Northwest Crossroads battle on Tuesday, May 11.
