East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI), 15-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, East Providence advances its record to 14-3 on the season. The Townies host Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to battle the Lions in a Division 1 match on Monday, May 11. The Lions come into the match with a record of 12-5. Lincoln lost 7-2 in their recent league match against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)

The Patriots now have a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Hendricken for a Division 1 match on Monday, May 11.
