Maine High School Softball - Piscataquis succumbs to Searsport
June 3, 2025: Guilford, ME 04443 In Tuesday's non-league test, the Searsport Vikings (Searsport, ME) softball team routed the host Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), by a margin of 17-7.
The Vikings now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bucksport for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 4. Searsport will confront a Golden Bucks team coming off a 2-1 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 14-1.
With the loss, Piscataquis moves to 2-12 on the season. The Pirates host Central (East Corinth, ME) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 4. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 6-7. Central won 13-3 in their recent league battle against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME)
