Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) and the visiting Skyview Wolverines (Thornton, CO), saw Elizabeth's baseball squad knock off Skyview by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Cardinals play the Falcon Falcons (Falcon, CO) in a 4A/3A Colo Springs Metro North battle, on Saturday, June 5. Elizabeth will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 11-1 record after their 15-0 league win over Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO).

The Wolverines now possess a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Aurora Central for a 4A/3A Colorado battle on Tuesday, June 8. Skyview will play a Trojans squad coming off a 26-20 non-league loss to Adams City (Commerce City, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 0-14.
