The Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Pentucket Regional Sachems (West Newbury, MA), 17-11 in Friday's league outing.

With the triumph, Newburyport improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Clippers host Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA) to meet the Generals in a Cape Ann challenge on Thursday, June 10. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.

The Sachems (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Vikings enter the Cape Ann challenge with a 2-2 record.
