Georgia High School Football - Early County tipped by Westover

August 15, 2025: Albany, GA 31707

Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA), 24-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Westover upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, August 22. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-1. Bradwell Institute lost 21-20 in their recent non-league match against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 22. Early County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Grangers go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 27-7 non-league win over Cass (White, GA).
