In Friday's non-league outing, the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) football squad were winner over the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA), by a margin of 36-13.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Jackson County will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 23-7 non-league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
